Unpacking: FairyLoot Box Oktober | Villainous

Kürzlich erreichte mich die Villainous (dt. schurkenhaft) FairyLoot Box, die ich sehnlichst erwartet habe. In vielen Geschichten faszinieren mich die Schurken und Bösewichte, womit ich natürlich super gespannt auf die Umsetzung in der Box war.

Unpacking

Als erstes begegnete mir eine Maleficent Kerze von Meraki Candles, die nach Orchidee und Lotus duftet und hübsch aussieht. Daneben lag ein schöner Untersetzer von Evie Seo, inspiriert von Moriarty aus Sherlock. Auch gab es hübsche Postkarten von The Language of Thorns (Leigh Bardugo).

Nachdem ich mich durch das lilane Verpackungsmaterial wühlte entdeckte ich den super coolen Todesser Pin von House of Wonderland. Außerdem fand ich einen hübschen Taschenspiegel mit einem Zitat aus Young Elites (Marie Lu), hergestellt von Little Inkling Desings. Auch diesmal gab es zwei Art Prints dazu: ein Night of Cake and Puppets Print und ein Raise Hell Print, angelehnt an The Mortal Instruments von Cassandra Clare. Besonders das zweite gefällt mir richtig gut, ich liebe die Farben und die Illustrationen.

Ein weiteres Item in der Box war diesmal ein weiteres Hardcoverbuch, und zwar eine exklusive Edition von The Language of Thorns (Leigh Bardugo), worüber ich mich natürlich wahnsinnig gefreut habe.

Kommen wir nun zum Hauptbuch, das wie immer in einer hübschen FairyLoot Tasche eingepackt war, was ich richtig toll und einzigartig finde. Es handelt sich um Forest of a thousand Lanterns von Julia C. Dao. Dazu gab es einen gedruckten Brief der Autorin und einen signierten Sticker, den ich direkt ins Buch geklebt habe.

Fazit

Auch diese Box konnte mich total begeistern, besonders aufgrund des zweiten Hardcoverbuches, auch wenn die anderen Items dadurch knapper ausgefallen sind, was ich aber wiederum nicht schlimm finde. Manchmal ist weniger doch mehr. Den Preis von knapp 40€ inklusive Versand finde ich völlig in Ordnung, immerhin kostet das Hardcover Buch bereits 17,99€. Die Items waren meiner Meinung nach wieder mal sehr passende gewählt und qualitativ hochwertig. Meine Highlights sind die Maleficent Kerze – den Film mit Angelina Jolie gehört zu meinen absoluten Favoriten und ich habe ihn sicherlich schon 10 Mal gesehen, und das zweite Hardcoverbuch.

Das Thema für die Novemberbox lautet Ladies that slay und ist bereits ausverkauft. Im Dezember dreht sich dann alles um Royals, das Thema lautet Oh so Regal. Hier kann man sich für die Warteliste eintragen, damit man rechtzeitig informiert wird, wenn die Box verfügbar ist.
