Manche von euch werden jetzt zurecht sagen: Englische Bücher liest se doch eh kaum. Das ist richtig, aber kürzlich gab es wieder Rabatt bei Thalia und was man hat, hat man. Vielleicht motivieren mich die Neuzugänge ja dazu, endlich wieder mehr auf Englisch zu lesen. Und nun: viel Spaß beim Stöbern!

Marie Lu – Wildcard
Weil Warcross ein absolutes Highlight für mich war, wollte ich Wildcard am liebsten sofort im Anschluss lesen. Der Plan ist bisher leider nicht aufgegangen, mal schauen ob ich es noch schaffe, bevor der Band im Frühjahr auf Deutsch erscheint. Auf dieses Buch bin ich durch die Instagram Posts und die Rezension von Juliane aufmerksam geworden. Sie hat die Bücher der Autorin sehr gelobt und nun möchte ich mir natürlich auch einen Eindruck verschaffen.

Dieses Buch stand schon eine Weile auf meiner Wunschliste, ich finde der Inhalt klingt richtig toll. Und ich LIEBE die Covergestaltung. Leider ist es bei Thalia nur noch als eBook gelistet.

Ich weiß gar nicht, wie ich auf die Geschichte aufmerksam wurde, aber die Bücher der Autorin (Jack the Ripper & Hunting Prince Dracula) waren eine Zeit lang vor allem bei Instagram in aller Munde und wurden ständig in meinen Newsfeed gespült. Besonders der Inhalt dieses Titels hat mich dann sehr neugierig gestimmt, er klingt düster und irgendwie magisch.

Ich finde es super cool, dass Thalia zwischendurch solche Aktionen anbietet, denn gerade für englische Bücher bietet sich das natürlich sehr an. Meistens warte ich immer bis es Rabatt gibt, bis ich die Bücher kaufe, da sie dann noch günstiger sind als so schon – der Vorteil der nicht vorhandenen Preisbindung.

awww Keri Maniscalco, wie schön ein Buch von ihr auf deinem Blog zu sehen. Ich bin begeistert von ihr, kenne bisher allerdings nur Teil 1 und freue mich schon riesig, bald mit Teil 2 weiter zumachen und dann auch mit diesem hübschen Schmuckstück!
